Again there is displayed of a total lack of intelligent thoughtful leadership. Regardless of the other Democrat candidates, the Riverhead Democratic Committee puts an unelectable candidate (that’s an understatement) on the ballot — for all intents and purposes, a socialist. Really? Is that how the committee expects to win an election?
I cannot fathom the other candidates HAVE agreed to be on a ballot with him… but they have. What does it say about them? Frankly it makes an obvious statement that a socialist candidate is acceptable to Riverhead Democratic Committee and will be acceptable to the voters in hopes of winning an election. I think not.
Our current leadership needs to changed much like a baby’s diaper, but at least give us a clean diaper.
I will hold my nose and vote for them rather than a local party who nominates a socialist.
