A magical display of carved pumpkins will accompany this year's Halloween Fest in downtown Riverhead, which will include prizes for different pumpkin categories.

Organizers of the Second Annual Poe Festival are seeking actors, dancers, performers and authors to volunteer for the Halloween weekend event. Auditions will take place Tuesday at Riverhead Free Library.
