Five candidates seeking the Democratic nod to run against Rep. Lee Zeldin (R-Shirley) in November are scheduled to attend a forum in Riverhead Sunday: Kate Browning, Eileen DiMasi, Perry Gershon, David Pechefsky and Vivian Viloria-Fisher.

In a decision delayed until after an Oct. 18 candidates' forum in Riverhead, the N.Y. League of Conservation Voters has declined to endorse either candidate in the First Congressional District.

Republican Lee Zeldin and Democrat Anna Throne-Holst will answer questions on environmental issues Tuesday, Oct. 17 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Culinary Arts Center in Riverhead.
