Rosemarie L. Forte of Cutchogue died at her home on May 11, 2012.  She was 72 years old.

She was born on October 4, 1939 in Manhattan to Frank and Maria (nee Scerbo) Donato.

On September 29, 1962, she married Robert Anthony Forte and together they made their home in Bayside, Queens and later in East Northport for many years.

In 1990, she and her husband moved to Cutchogue.  Family members recalled her deep love for her family.

Surviving are her husband,  a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steven Diana of East Northport; a sister, Alba Marinello of Oregon and two granddaughters, Elisabeth Mary Diana and Christine Elise Diana.

The Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on May 14 at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church by Monsignor Joseph W. Staudt with the assistance of the Ministry of Consolation.  Interment followed at Calverton National Cemetery.  Funeral services were entrusted to the DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Homes.
