Tom Damiani of North Fork Audubon has tried to set up a birding trip to Howard Beach for the past three years, but hasn’t had enough birders to sign up for it. He’s really hoping that this year it will be a go.
Tom says, “It’s a great trip. Jamaica Bay is worth every minute you spend there.”
This trip will be an all-day affair, with dinner in Howard Beach. Participants will meet at the Tanger parking lot in front of the Office Max at 8 a.m. Pre-registration is strongly advised for the outing to Jamaica Bay.
