The Riverhead Faculty Community Theatre will open their latest musical, Tony Award-winning “Catch Me If You Can,” on Friday. 

The musical tells the story of a con-artist who is perpetually on the run. It is based on the hit DreamWorks film of the same name and has a libretto by Terrence McNally and a theatrical score by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.

The show was nominated for Tony Awards for best musical, best lead actor in a musical, best sound designs and best orchestrations with Norbert Leo Butz winning for best lead actor in a musical.

Shows will be on Nov. 4, 5, 11 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 6 and 13 at 2 p.m. at the Riverhead High School auditorium.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for students and can be purchased online or at the door.
