Riverhead highway crews are paving Sound Avenue between Roanoke Court and Sandpiper Drive today from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., Highway Superintendent Mike Zaleski said.
Zaleski advised motorists to use alternate routes if possible, drive slowly and use extra caution in work areas.
