Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say stole a 43-inch television from the Riverhead Walmart in August.
The man attempted to steal two Samsung 43-inch televisions from Walmart, located at 1890 Old Country Road, on August 23 at approximately 8:30 a.m., according to a police press release issued today. Store security confronted the man and recovered one TV, but the suspect fled the store with the other television, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
