The Flanders Riverside Northampton Community Association will host the second annual Christy J. Findlay Flanders Food Truck Festival next weekend.

Hundreds of visitors flocked to the inaugural festival last year. FRNCA raised $5,000 which it returned to local residents via community projects and scholarships. (See prior story.)

“This year’s event will be bigger and better than last year with a main stage, entertainment, activities for kids, more tents and seating and a whole lot more,” FRNCA president Ron Fisher said.

The second annual festival will run three days: Friday, May 18 from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday, May 19 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m and Sunday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the grounds of Truth Community Church at the corner of Bell Avenue and Flanders Road (State Route 24) .

Admission is a $5 donation with kids under the age of 12 free. Visitors can purchase food items from any of the vendors on the grounds.

Vendors interested in getting a spot at the festival can still apply before the deadline of May 14. Interested vendors should contact Suzanne Fiumano at the Suffolk County health department at 631-852-5863, or click here to email her. Fiumano is administering FRNCA’s county permit for the event, Fisher said.
