The Town of Riverhead will host a prayer ceremony honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terror attacks at the World Trade Center Memorial Park at the corner of Riley and Edwards avenues in Calverton at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.

Riverhead Town Supervisor Yvette Aguiar announced the ceremony in a press release yesterday afternoon.

A candlelight walk and remembrance service hosted by Sound Park Heights Civic Association will take place Monday evening beginning at 6 p.m. All are invited to join the walk from Marine Street in Reeves Park to the 9/11 Memorial Park on the corner of Sound Avenue and Park Road. More information.
