Tonight is the last Alive on 25 event for this summer. The popular summer street festival will culminate in a laser light show at the town square in downtown Riverhead.

The popular event, sponsored and organized by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, begins at 5 p.m. and offers live music, street vendors, craft beverages, food trucks, artists, street performers and activities for kids up and down Main Street.

The laser light show, the first of its kind at Alive on 25, will start at 9 p.m.

Main Street will be closed to vehicle traffic between Griffing Avenue and Maple Avenue from 3-11 p.m., according to the Riverhead Police Department. Peconic Avenue will be closed from the Riverside traffic circle to East Main Street, and Roanoke Avenue from Second Street to East Main Street, during that time, according to the police.
