The 40th annual Harvest Gospel Concert will take place Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m. at The Suffolk in downtown Riverhead.
The anniversary celebration, supported by Discover LI, will feature special guests and a tribute to founding creative director the Rev. Maryanne McElroy. This year’s program will be a single concert rather than the traditional two.
The nondenominational community choir welcomes singers of all experience levels. Participants can choose between rehearsal locations in Riverhead and Southampton and should plan to attend all rehearsals for their chosen location.
Remaining Riverhead rehearsals are Saturdays at 7 p.m. at Galilee Church of Christ on Oct. 24 and 31 and Nov. 7 and 14. The rehearsal schedule for Kings Chapel Church of God in Christ in Southampton is pending; participants can sign up for notifications. A dress rehearsal for all singers will take place Wednesday, Nov. 18, at The Suffolk.
