Riverhead Town will hold a prayer ceremony at the World Trade Center Memorial Park, located at the corner of Riley and Hubbard avenues on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 10 a.m., Supervisor Tim Hubbard announced Friday afternoon.
On the evening of Sept. 11, the Sound Park Heights Civic Association will host its annual candlelight walk and memorial service. The walk from Marine Street to the 9/11 Memorial Park on the corner of Sound Avenue and Lt. Thomas R. Kelly Rd. (Park Road) begins at 6 p.m. More information.
