Robert C. Moreland Jr. of Riverhead died on Oct. 8, 2024, at Peconic Bay Medical Center. He was 79.
Born in Smithtown on Oct. 13, 1944, he was the son of Robert C. Moreland Sr. and Carrie E. Conkling. He was a high school graduate and had a career as a truck driver.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa Pastor (Jack), his daughter, Jacqueline Moreland (Samantha Frazier), his son, Robert Moreland III (Corinne) and his sister Barbara. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Tuthill-Mangano Funeral Home in Riverhead.
