Sat., Dec. 7, 8-10:30 a.m. Pancake breakfast with Santa, Riverhead High School, 700 Harrison Avenue, Riverhead. Plus cookie decorating, fun games and crafts. Hosted by the Riverhead High School Cooking Club. All proceeds go to purchasing gifts for children in the local school community. Tickets are $8 at the door. (Children under 7 free.)

Festivities kick off at 1 p.m. with the Lions Club Christmas Parade, Main Street, Santa arrives by boat on the Peconic River at 2:30 pm, followed by a visit with Santa in his gingerbread house on the riverfront, with a holiday bonfire and refreshments.
