The 119th Congress is off to a strong start, and I am deeply honored to continue serving as your Representative. The first day was not only steeped in tradition but also marked by a renewed commitment to addressing the pressing challenges facing our nation and Long Island communities.
Taking the oath of office alongside my colleagues, I pledged to uphold the Constitution and work tirelessly for the people of Suffolk County. This solemn moment reaffirmed my dedication to the conservative, suburban values and common-sense principles that guide my work.
On our inaugural day, the House of Representatives convened to elect Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House, adopt the rules for this session, and set the stage for tackling our legislative priorities. Key among these priorities are securing our borders, addressing inflation, and reaffirming America’s leadership on the global stage
While challenges abound, I remain committed to bipartisan problem-solving. Collaboration across and within party lines is essential to achieving meaningful results for Suffolk County and ensuring that Washington works for us. Equally important is my dedication to transparency and accessibility. Your voice is vital to shaping the policies we pursue, and I encourage you to share your concerns, ideas, and feedback.
My staff in Hauppauge is always here to assist with issues involving federal agencies, from the Social Security Administration, Veterans Affairs, and the IRS, to Citizenship and Immigration Services, passports, visas and more. If you or a family member needs help, please don’t hesitate to contact us at (631) 289-1097.
Thank you for entrusting me to represent you. Together, we can build a stronger Suffolk County and a brighter future for Long Island.
