Riverhead Police are seeking information about the theft of a 24-foot enclosed trailer containing automotive parts from the lot at Eagle Chevrolet, 1330 Old Country Road, on Sunday, Feb. 16.
“Two unknown individuals operating a newer model Chevrolet Silverado were observed removing the trailer and leaving the area westbound on Route 58” from the dealership at about 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 16, police said in a press release yesterday.
The reported value of the trailer was $60,000 and the automotive parts were reported to be valued at approximately $75,000, police said.
