Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Riverhead Town Police detectives are asking the public’s help to identify and locate a man they say used counterfeit money to purchase a Arctis Nova Headset, valued at $379 from Best Buy in Riverhead on Oct. 8 at 2:05 p.m.
Crime Stoppers released the above surveillance camera image of the suspect, who they said is wanted for criminal possession.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, or via the P3Tips.com website or the P3 Tips mobile app. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
All calls, texts and messages will be kept confidential, police said.
