A dense fog advisory is in effect late this evening through tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock, the National Weather Service said in a statement this afternoon.
Visibility of one-quarter mile or less in dense fog is expected from 10 p.m. tonight through 10 a.m. tomorrow, the weather service said. Driving conditions may be hazardous as a result, the weather service said.
The advisory is in effect for Long Island, the New York City metro region, portions of southern Connecticut and northeast New Jersey.
