Anita Lucille Fagan of Southold died March 1, 2026, at home. She was 82 years old.
Born Oct. 30, 1943, in Queens, she was the daughter of Emma and William C. Perrella. She worked as a pharmacy clerk, and her family said her true passions were artistry and her family.
She was predeceased by her sister, Florence Perrella.
She is survived by her children, Arthur Schoedel (Claire) of Southold, Jeanette Cooper of New Suffolk, and Chris Schoedel (Dawn) of Minot, North Dakota; her brother, Patrick Perrella of Southold; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held privately at Calverton National Cemetery, officiated by deacon Doug Moran.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dylan Newman Forever 5 Foundation. Arrangements were entrusted to DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home in Southold.
