Robin Marie (Sorel) Evans of Southold died June 14, 2026, at home. She was 58 years old.
Born April 6, 1968, in Ware, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Romuald C. Sorel and Elizabeth A. “Lisa” (D’Annolfo) Sorel. Raised and educated in Ware, she was a 1982 graduate of the former St. Mary’s School in Ware, a 1986 graduate of Ware High School and a 1988 graduate of LaSalle Junior College in Newton, Massachusetts.
She had been a resident of Southold for 23 years. On Oct. 20, 2002, she married Jeffrey L. Evans in Woodstock, Connecticut; they were married 17 years when he died March 31, 2020. She was employed as a waitress and bartender at the Hellenic Restaurant for seven years and Skippers Restaurant for 15 years.
She was predeceased by her husband and her parents, she is survived by her brother, Jeffrey M. Sorel of Ware, Massachusetts; her stepchildren, Ryan Evans (Tracy) of Manorville, Justin Evans (Sarah) of Riverhead, and Scott Evans of Arcadia, Florida; and six step-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2 p.m. at Sterling Cemetery in Greenport.
