Developer John Paci III says construction is progressing at 205 Osborn, with ground-floor anchor tenant Hanover Bank in place, as he asks the IDA to extend a sales tax exemption and push PILOT to 2026.

Investors in a stalled downtown Riverhead apartment building are committed to taking the project over the finish line without its troubled original developer, a lawyer for the investors said in an interview Monday.

The Riverhead IDA is now in contact with investors in G2D's two properties in downtown Riverhead, the agency said in a press release Thursday. RIDA said it expects both project to "make their full contribution to the town's development."

The developer of the first building going up in a special district created to revitalize the area around the Riverhead railroad station is mired in debt totaling more than $16 million, according to pending lawsuits, judgments and contractors’ liens.
