An Aquebogue woman was arrested on a Leandra’s Law felony DWI charge early this morning following a crash that injured her 15-month-old child on Christmas morning, according to Riverhead Town Police.

Shultz Road and a section of Wading River-Manor Road are scheduled for paving this week, beginning today.

Police said the man was driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol when he crashed his 2014 Dodge Pickup truck into a utility pole on route 25 in Calverton yesterday morning at about 10 a.m.

Police said Jesse R. Goodale III, of Flanders, drove drunk with a 14-year-old child on board Wednesday morning; he crashed his vehicle in the Riverhead H.S. parking and faces a felony aggravated DWI charge under Leandra's Law.
