Distilleries are currently unable to serve certain spirits in their tasting rooms unless at least 75 percent of their ingredients are grown in New York, but some spirits require ingredients that can't be found on local farms.

The farm bureau is eliminating its executive director position in favor of an administrative director and a public policy director, LIFB president said.
