Riverhead Marine is first recipient of special recognition award named in his honor
U.S. Marine Sergeant Marcus Santana, who saved the life of an elderly woman Nov. 24, is the first recipient of the Sgt. Marcus L. Santana Special Recognition Award, presented to him yesterday by the Eastern Long Island Branch, NAACP.
