A Riverhead man pleaded guilty last week to stealing from and burglarizing Lowe's in Riverhead throughout November 2021, according to Suffolk County District Attorney Ray Tierney.

A 23-year-old man involved in the November 2020 robbery and murder of a man who was found dead in the back of his pickup truck on Roanoke Avenue was sentenced today to 18 years in prison with five years of post-release supervision. 

Bayron Fajardo-Gonzalez, 34, pleaded guilty to Murder in the Second Degree in the August 2020 stabbing death of Tania Fox, 45, at the couple’s Ludlam Avenue home, in front of the victim's 9-year-old daughter.
