The Riverhead BID once again has a full card of downtown events planned: Alive on 25 on four Friday nights, fireworks, Reflections- Art in the Park, Cardboard Boat Races, Halloween Fest, and a holiday parade and bonfire.

Downtown Riverhead was packed for Halloween Fest '22 yesterday. The day's activities included coffin races on Griffing Avenue, trick-or-treating along Main Street, pumpkin painting and the grand finale, a big after-dark parade featuring all sorts of ghouls, goblins, zombies and monsters. Photos.

Riverhead's Halloween Festival drew hundreds of people downtown Saturday for spooky family fun, starting with the crowd-pleasing coffin races, continuing with trick-or-treating along Main Street and culminating in an after-dark costume parade and performances.

The 'Back to the Future' team — York Fife, Jack Bartolo, Landon Zaleski, Quinn Stromski and Justin Lopresti — motoring in the DeLorean Time Machine, won the Ghoulies Division and took home a $150 prize.

"Bubbelpalooza" returns to Alive on 25 tonight, part of a special "Kids Zone" in Grangebel Park, which will include activities, an LED show by Team Fun Circus and kids' movies. Plus on Main Street: Live music on six stages, craft beverages, food trucks, street dining and vendors, 5-9:30 p.m. in downtown Riverhead.

Choose from more than a dozen eateries, plus ice cream. craft breweries and a distillery in downtown Riverhead during tonight's "Dine on 25" event.
