The Riverhead Fire Department made a quick stop to a small brush fire between Harrison Avenue and Sports Authority Thursday afternoon.
The department responded with one engine and one brush truck for the fire occurring shortly before 4 p.m. Approximately 30 firefighters responded.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
