Riverhead Police are seeking information on a reported assault and robbery on Railroad Avenue early Sunday morning.
Police said they were called to Railroad Avenue at around 2:37 a.m. on Sunday, May 31 by a man who said that he and a friend were assaulted and robbed of their cell phones and unknown amount of cash while they walked along Railroad Avenue.
Due to conflicting accounts of what happened from the two victims, the only description of these suspects police were able to obtain was that they were five or six males, who were either black or Hispanic, who punched and kicked the two victims and removed their cell phones and cash.
