Little Flower names new Board of Directors officers

Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York (Little Flower), one of the largest agencies providing critical programs and services to children, families and adults with developmental disabilities in New York City and across Long Island, recently elected new officers to its board of directors.

Leonard Scioscia has been elected president of the board of directors. Scioscia, president and CEO of Cook Maran & Associates, has served on the board since 2013. Since joining Little Flower, he has shown great interest helping its youth by participating in events such as Career Day as a panel speaker.

Thomas K. Cullen has been elected a co-vice president of the board. Cullen, president and CEO of Crown Advertising & Marketing, has served in various capacities of the Little Flower board since 1986. He and his brothers have been great supporters of Little Flower youth and alumni.

Michael Rafferty is the other newly elected co-vice president. Rafferty, principal and CEO of Rafferty Holdings, LLC, has served on the board since 2006 and has been active in various capacities and a leader on several committees.

Howard Nolan has been elected treasurer of the board.  Nolan, senior executive vice president and CEO of the Bridgehampton National Bank, joined the board in 2014 and has been an active member of the Little Flower Annual Golf Classic and Audit Committees for many years.

“We are honored to have these talented individuals as our leaders,” said Little Flower executive director Corinne Hammons. “We will benefit enormously from their commitment, skills, and experience. I look forward to working with them to meet the needs of the vulnerable children, families and developmentally disabled we serve every day.”
