Tim McHeffey, author of “Teacher’s Guide for Creating Magic: Ten Common Sense Leadership Strategies from a Life at Disney” will speak at the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce’s “Eggs and Issues” breakfast meeting on Thursday, April 13.
McHeffy’s talk, based on the principles taught at the world-renowned Disney Institute, will be “a practical discussion for… business owners, managers, supervisors and employees,” the chamber said in a press release. “Whether you’re in a seasonal hospitality business or a year-round industry, you will come away with great hands-on things to do tomorrow.”
McHeffy is professor at Suffolk County Community College. He will also share a brief introduction to his new program: “Peace in the Workplace… getting it, keeping it, sharing it.”
A question and answer time will be allotted.
Eggs and Issues will take place at The Hotel Indigo East End, 1830 W. Main Street (Route 25) in Riverhead. The event begins at 8 a.m.
