A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 58 and Pulaski Street this afternoon sent three people, including a four-year-old child, to the hospital.

A Hyundai Elantra was eastbound on Route 58 when it collided with a Ford Explorer heading north on Pulaski Street. The accident occurred at about 1:45 p.m.

The female driver of the Explorer as well as female driver of the Hyundai, a male passenger and the child were taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center by Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance Corps. None of the injuries were life-threatening.

The accident is under investigation, police said.
