Work on the Riverside roundabout project will move to nighttime hours in the coming week, beginning Sunday night at 10 p.m.
Night work will take place from Sunday, Oct. 22 through Thursday, Oct. 26 from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.
This next phase of the construction project will be in the median area of County Road 94 (Nugent Drive) from the vicinity of the culvert to the traffic circle, according to project engineer Michael Pelc in an email to local civic leaders.
The contractor will maintain one lane of traffic on Nugent Drive in each direction, Pelc said.
There may also be a crew working during daytime hours. Daytime work will not impact traffic, Pelc said.
The contractor has completed much of the planned curb and sidewalk along the outside perimeter of the project, he said.
