Riverhead Town municipal trash pickup follows its regular schedule today. Suffolk County Transit buses and the LIRR also follow a regular weekday schedule.
Riverhead Free Library is open today, keeping its regular hours (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
Veterans Day ceremonies were held Sunday in Riverhead and at Calverton National Cemetery. Veterans Day this year marked the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, with the signing of the armistice agreement on Nov. 11, 1918.
