Riverhead Blue Waves pride was on display yesterday as the annual homecoming parade marched up Main Street on its way to McKillop Memorial Field, where the Waves hosted Patchogue-Medford.
Led by the Riverhead High School NJROTC, the parade featured the high school marching band and colorful holiday-themed class floats.
The Pat-Med Raiders picked up their first win of the season, overwhelming the Waves 45-13. The Waves (0-4) travel to Longwood next week for game five.
