Riverhead Police are investigating a burglary at a West Main Street business early this morning.

Police responding to an alarm at NAPA Auto Parts at 1556 West Main St. just before 1:30 a.m. found a “glass break” and determined that someone had gained entry into the premises and removed cash from the store’s register.

A New York State Police K9 unit responded to the scene and conducted a K9 track.

The Riverhead Police detective division is investigating.

Police ask anyone with information concerning the burglary to call the Riverhead Police Department at 631 727-4500 ext. 321.
