Robert G. Aleksander Sr. of Delhi, New York, formerly of the North Fork, died on Aug. 1, 2020. He was 64 years old.
He was born April 23, 1956 in Riverhead to Anna Pierzchanowski and John Aleksander. He graduated from Southold High School in 1975.
He worked as a landscaper. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, telling jokes and keeping fish.
He was predeceased by his son Jeremy and his both parents. He is survived by his sons Robert of Delhi and Jason of Southold, grandchildren Grace and Jeremy of Southold and brother Rick of Peconic.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, Aug. 9 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coster-Heppner Funeral Home in Cutchogue. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Ostrabrama with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
