Main Street will be closed to traffic at 3 p.m. for the return of the Alive on 25 street festival, which begins this evening at 5 o’clock. The street will be closed between McDermott Avenue and Griffing Avenue until 10 p.m. Peconic Avenue will also be closed.

Tonight’s street festival ends with a free fireworks display at about 9:15 p.m. The fireworks will be staged from Grangebel Park.

The festival tonight will also feature a classic car show, in addition to the offerings featured at each Alive on 25 event: live music on six stages, local craft beverages, outdoor dining, Long Island artists, performers and street vendors.
