Illuminated art and live music drew visitors to Grangebel Park in downtown Riverhead Friday night for the 2022 season debut of “Reflextions Art in the Park,” now in its fifth season.

The free event features a walkable gallery exhibiting various forms of light art, including sculptures made of LED lights, reflective materials, luminescence, fire and a walk-through black light mural.

The next Reflextions event will take place on Friday, Aug. 12, when downtown Riverhead’s summer street festival “Alive on 25” will also be held. The remaining dates this year are Saturday, Sept. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 1, which coincides with downtown Riverhead’s second annual Oktoberfest.
