It’s shaping up to be a beautiful evening in downtown Riverhead with mostly clear skies and pleasant temperatures forecast for tonight’s Alive on 25 summer street festival on Main Street.
The event features live music on multiple stages along Main Street, vendors, a family square featuring games and activities and bubblepalooza, a car show, street performers, food trucks, and offerings from downtown Riverhead restaurants and the many craft breweries that make Riverhead the craft beer capitol of the East End.
Tonight’s car show features NHRA drag racers presented by the Race Track Not Street drag-racing series at the Calverton Enterprise Park.
Alive on 25 runs from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Admission is free. Parking is free in municipal lots. See map. Overflow parking is available at the Suffolk County Center off County Road 51, a short walk from downtown.

Alive on 25 is hosted by the Riverhead Business Improvement District.
