Perfect weather and holiday cheer aplenty drew a big crowd to downtown Riverhead Saturday afternoon for the Riverhead Lions Club 71st Annual Christmas Parade and the town’s annual holiday bonfire on the riverfront.
Tractors, classic cars, floats, race cars and horses joined marching bands and fire trucks all decked out in their holiday finest for the big parade — featuring, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus in their sleigh.
