The Alive on 25 summer street festival will present a fireworks display in downtown Riverhead Friday evening in downtown Riverhead. The fireworks will begin at about 9 p.m.
The street festival, sponsored by the Riverhead Business Improvement District, begins at 5:30 p.m. and offers live music, street vendors, craft beverages, restaurants, food trucks, artists, street performers and activities for kids.
The weather forecast for Friday night as of right now is mostly cloudy but no chance of rain until after midnight. Should inclement weather require postponement the rain date for this event is July 19.

Wednesday, July 3: Greenport Polo Grounds display at the Greenport Fire Department annual carnival More.
Thursday, July 4: Bald Hill Amphitheatre, Farmingville, following a free concert by the Chiclettes. More.
Saturday, July 6: Sag Harbor Yacht Club. Watch from your boat and listen to WLNG 92.1 FM for musical accompaniment.
Saturday, July 6: Greenport Polo Grounds display at the Greenport Fire Department annual carnival More.
