Get into the spirit of the season on Saturday, Dec. 7 with a triple-header: the Lions Club Christmas parade, holiday bonfire and Christmas tree lighting.
The parade steps off at 1 p.m. and heads down Main Street to the town square. Santa will arrive by boat at 2:30 p.m. Kids can visit with Santa in his gingerbread house on the Peconic Riverfront, while visitors bask in the glow of the a holiday bonfire. The afternoon will be capped off with the Christmas tree lighting at 5:15 p.m.
This free event is presented by the Riverhead Lions Club, Riverhead Townscape, the Riverhead Chamber of Commerce and Peconic Bay Power Squadron.
