Explore the 20 varied demonstration gardens planted and maintained for Long Island Horticultural Research & Extension Center by the Cornell Gardeners at the annual Open House, on Saturday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the research and extension center, located at 3059 Sound Avenue in Riverhead.
This free even features workshops, demonstrations, wagon rides, and tours of the gardens led by experienced and master gardeners.
There is also a plant sale with excellent prices for finishing off your gardens.
