More than 250 people took part in the 2026 Northwell’s East End Health Walk at RGNY Vineyard, raising $131,472 to support cancer services and breast health programs at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
The May 17 event brought together community members, patients, families, hospital staff and supporters for a walk celebrating survivorship and supporting expanded access to cancer care on the East End.
Funds raised will support PBMC programs focused on prevention, early detection, treatment and survivorship resources for patients in Eastern Suffolk County, according to the hospital.
“This community continues to show up for Peconic Bay Medical Center in the most meaningful ways,” PBMC President Amy Loeb said. “Every person who walked, donated or volunteered helped strengthen our ability to provide patients with the cancer care, breast health services and support they need, right here in Eastern Suffolk County.”
The event also included a PBMC 75th Expo, highlighting the hospital’s history, recent growth and specialized services.
The Northwell Health Walk is held annually at several locations, including the East End, Jones Beach, Port Jefferson, Staten Island, Westchester and Connecticut.
