Local business owners: East End does not get fair share of hotel tax revenues
Suffolk County Comptroller John Kennedy came to speak to East End residents about the county's initiative to collect the 3% hotel tax from operators of online short-term rental homes, but he got an earful about the share of the hotel tax revenues used for promotion of East End tourism.
