Bike rodeo

Kids in grades kindergarten through 6 can test their bicycle-handing skills and compete to win a brand new bike at the Riverhead PAL annual bike rodeo on Saturday, May 6 at Stotzky Park.

Bike safety skills were put to the test Saturday morning at Stotzky Park, where around two dozen local kids competed for a chance to win new bicycles at the Riverhead Police Athletic League's annual bike rodeo.

Show off your bike riding safety skills at the PAL bike rodeo and you could win a bike - if you are the top rider in your age group.

Bike rodeos are a fun way for the whole family to learn bike safety.

Forty-five children competed for brand new bikes and other prizes Sunday in PAL's annual bicycle safety event for kids grades K-6.
