Broad Cove

Broad Cove, a 100-acre waterfront parcel on Flanders Bay in Aquebogue, has been acquired for preservation by the Peconic Land Trust. The former duck farm has been on state, county and town preservation lists for decades.

The resort would include up to 450 guest rooms and 50 “villas,” plus a health spa, banquet facilities, club house and shops.

The county will again attempt to acquire this significant waterfront parcel for preservation, County Legislator Al Krupski said Friday.
