Owners of the popular casual eatery in Holtsville are opening a new restaurant in former RiverheadProject building, Riverhead Supervisor Sean Walter said. The new place will have a cabaret aspect that will bring some nightlife downtown for younger crowds, he said.

The Riverhead Project's owner surrendered the restaurant to his landlord three days before abruptly closing its doors Sept. 6 to settle an eviction proceeding brought for nonpayment of rent.
