The Trump administration announced Tuesday it will enforce a provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act that requires all undocumented immigrants age 14 and older to register and be fingerprinted. Undocumented children younger than 14 must be registered by parents/guardians.

A state appellate court has ruled the Suffolk County Sheriff’s practice of detaining people on ICE administrative warrants unlawful under New York State law.
